“Health expenditure in Australia in 2008-09 reached $112.8 billion, an increase of $9.2 billion since 2007-08. The area of health expenditure with the largest increase was public hospital services, which accounted for over one-quarter of the total increase in 2008-09. ‘Health expenditure Australia 2008-09′ examines expenditure on different types of health goods and services in the decade to 2008-09.
